    ALL weapon systems require a certain amount of maintenance to remain 100% effective. Why should the ASP baton be any different? This makes sense on two levels; First, It pays to have spare parts. Second, in the event of needed maintenance or repair, you don't have to send it in for downtime. I actually own the "armorers' kit". But it works the same. A very well thought out system of maintenance for your weapon system. I only wish replacement o-rings and clips were easier to get than they are.
