The ASP Expandable Baton as an Alternative Self-Defense Weapon
A baton is a self defense device that is most commonly used by law enforcement and military as a backup or alternative to using a firearm.
They come in different shapes and sizes, but the most popular
are the expandable types that consist of 2 or 3 round cylinders that are retracted within the handle. When extended out you have a formidable weapon.
There are less expensive batons that are produced in Taiwan, Korea, Japan and India. But be warned that none of these items meet the specifications established by major federal law enforcement and military organizations.
